Digital Near-Infrared Camera Conversions

June 2008

As at the start of June 2008, Khromagery has ceased to accept orders for IR camera conversions. Current orders are all being completed, and warranty is still provided on existing conversions. This change is largely due to a need to focus our attention on other areas of the business (including IR photography and software, but not camera conversions).

We will be maintaining and updating our information pages about digital IR photography, including the Digital IR Choices page.

Notes

Sensor cleaning:

In converted DSLRs the glass surface visible when you engage sensor-cleaning operation can be cleaned in the same way as you would clean an unconverted camera (this has unfortunately not been true of conversions by some other businesses). We have some notes on this.
